DESIGN OF PLANE
AN OFFER WITHDRAWN.

The aeronautical correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that the Air Ministry has withdrawn its offer of £25,000 for the best design for a high speed medium-sized air liner after consultation with the heads of the aircraft industry, who say that the industry' is too busy as a result of Air Force expansion.
