INJURED WOMEN
TRIPPED ON LINOLEUM. DAMAGES AGAINST THEATRE. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, August 13. Saying the picture-going public is not expected to wend its way to the auditorium with eyes glued to the floor looking out for traps and that there was no evidence of lack of care on the part of the plaintiffs, Mr J. H. Luxford, S.M., in a reserved judgment found foi the plaintiffs, two women, and awarded £55 damages. They were Mrs Florence Dodds and Miss Vesta Fordham, both of whom fell and injured themselves in the Rex Theatre on May 3 through tripping on a strip of linoleum.
