RHODES SCHOLARSHIPS
AUCKLAND NOMINEES. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, August 12. Messrs J. D. Lewis and E. H. Sealy were chosen to-day as the Auckland University College’s nominees for the Rhodes Scholarship in 1936. Mr Lewis, who graduated B.A. this year, is president of the Students’ Association and a prominent athlete. Mr Sealy, who is aged 22, graduated M.Sc. with firstclass honours last year. He is also proficient in music and his sports activities cover a wide field.
