MAN FOUND 160 MILES AT SEA. STRANGE ATLANTIC MYSTERY. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) New York, August 11. A message from Boston (Massachusetts) states that in one of the weirdest mysteries of the Atlantic, a crazed man without a life preserver and fully clothed was found swimming 160 miles at sea to-day by a fishing trawler. The swimmer fought any attempts at rescue. Because of Iris unintelligible remarks it was impossible to learn how he came to be so far at sea. The trawler’s master sent a wireless message to the Coastguard which despatched an amphibian plane and brought the man to hospital at Boston.
