SAFE REMOVED.
THIEVES SECURE SMALL SUM.

Wanganui, August 12. Durin" the week-end the premises of McGruer’s, Ltd., were entered and the safe removed bodily from the office. It was taken to the vicinity of the airport at Languard Bluff, two miles distant, where it was blown open. Only a small sum of money was secured by the thieves.
The safe was discovered yesterday afternoon in some lupins and the keys of the office from which the safe was taken are missing. So far there is no clue as to the perpetrators.
