WARDEN’S COURT. SITTING AT GORE. At a sitting of the Gore and Waikaia Warden’s Courts yesterday before Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M., applications were dealt with as follows:— The coastal Mining Company applied for an ordinary prospecting license of 3.3 acres, south-east of section 46, block XV., Waikaia Survey District The application was granted'. An application by the Waipapa Beach Gold Dredging Company for a special dredging claim, 43 acres, block IL, Otara Survey District, was granted. The following application for a special sea beach claim was granted:—Waipapa Beach Gold Dredging Company, 44 acres, block 11., Otara Survey District, and 43 acres, block 11., Otara Survey District. An application by Archibald D. Nicholson for a coal lease, nine acres, part of section 494, Hokonui Survey District, was recommended for consent with costs against the objector. The following applications for ordinary prospecting licenses were granted:—
Leonard A. St. Clode, 16 acres, portion of run 327 A and section 12, block X., Waikaia Survey District. Thomas McMath, 50 acres, part of block XV., Wendon Survey District.
