GREEK CABINET
GENERAL KONDYLIS RESIGNS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Athens, July 19. Unable to induce the Prime Minister, M. Tsaldaris, to force the Republican Ministers to resign or to depart from their neutrality in the forthcoming restoration of the monarchy plebiscite, the Monarchist Deputy-Premier, General Kondylis, has resigned. M. Tsaldaris is forming a new Ministry. MINISTRY RECONSTRUCTED MONARCHIST COUP FEARED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) Athens,’ July 20. M. Tsaldaris has reconstructed the Cabinet, dropping all Ministers who had pronounced themselves publicly in favour of either the monarchy or a republic, except General Kondylis, whose retention is regarded as a victory for the Monarchists, although M. Tsaldaris declares that the new Ministry will remain neutral regarding the monarchy during the plebiscite period. Meanwhile, the city is buzzing with rumours of an impending Monarchist coup d’etat.
