MILK ROUNDSMEN

CHANGED CONDITIONS SOUGHT.

(Per United Press Association.) Auckland, July 19. Opposition to the 2 a.m. start for milk roundsmen, advocacy of a . six-day week and approval of municipal control of milk sales, were expressed by a deputation from the Auckland Dairy Employees’ Union which waited on the Metropolitan Milk Council. It was stated that the union was unanimously in favour of the municipalization of the selling of milk. If the Milk Council or some other board took over the sales on a block delivery system, the union would be satisfied.
