AUTOGIROS DAMAGED
SIMILAR ACCIDENTS. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, June 17. By a strange coincidence two similar accidents happened to autogiros yesterday in Sydney and in Melbourne. In a strong gusty wind at the Mascot Aerodrome a new autogiro overturned on landing, smashing the rotor. The pilot was uninjured. A strong gust of wind struck an autogiro at the Essendon aerodrome, overturning it and smashing the rotor. The machine was at rest at the time, the pilot being unhurt.
