Sunday’s journey in the “Wheelbarrow Derby” was through hail and rain with the temperature never far above freezing point. Residents en route are treating the men hospitably. The “Wheelbarrow Derby” for £2O aside began at Beechworth on Saturday in the presence of a tremendous crowd. Of two prominent citizens of Beechworth, Messrs T. Parkinson and S. Evans, the former undertook to push the latter from Beechworth to Mount Buffalo Chalet, 50} miles, in eight days in an ordinary wheelbarrow.
