Mr and Mrs J. D. Cameron, of Oteramika, were the week-end guests of Mrs R. M. Martin, Park Street. Miss Margaret Lush, Invercargill, has returned home after spending a holiday with Mrs W. L. Cunningham, “Castle Downs,” Dipton. Miss N. Norman, Forest Hill, is visiting Invercargill as the guest of Mrs J. McCrostie.
Miss June Mitchell, Invercargill, is the guest of Mrs W. J. Cowie, Boggy Bum.
Mrs G. Cleland, Home Street, has returned from a holiday spent in Dunedin. The local branch of the R.S.A. held another of its series of euchre parties in the club rooms on Thursday evening last. The ladies’ prize was won by Miss A. Holland, while Mr C. Hughes was the successful man. Miss J. Henderson, Forest Hill, was a visitor to Invercargill last week. Miss Joyce Hinchey, who has been in charge of the Balclutha dental clinic, has now been transferred to Winton and commenced duties yesterday. Miss B. Dixon, Lilburne, was the guest of Mrs J. Dixon, Queen Street, for a few days last week. Miss A. Holland, Invercargill, spent the week-end at her home in Great North Road.
Mr and Mrs H. Denny, Great North Road, were visitors to Invercargill last week for the Aitken-McCrostie wedding. Mr and Mrs J. W. Irwin, Lochiel, have returned from a holiday spent ,in Dunedin.
Mr and Mrs A. Cole, Invercargill, were the week-end guests of Mrs I. V. Watson, East Winton.
