CABLE CORPORATION.
LIQUIDATION PROPOSAL.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) New York, June 15. Tire Postal, Telegraph and Cable Corporation went into voluntary liquidation and requested the Court for authority to reorganize the company under the Federal Bankruptcy Act. It claimed inability to meet 1,270,000 dollars interest due on bonds on July 1. The assets are listed at 125,000,000 dollars with an operating deficit in 1934 of 1,590,000 dollars. The Corporation shares with the Western Union practically all communications business in America, in addition to operating an extensive international cable system. ____________
