FORTY-HOUR WEEK
GENEVA CONFERENCE PRO-
POSAL.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Geneva, June 14. The Forty-hour Week Committee recommended preparation this year of a general draft convention embodying the principle of a forty-hour week. By 42 votes to seven the committee resolved to submit the convention for adoption at the present conference. Britain again opposed the proposal.
