CLAIM FAILS
ACTION BY KEMBALL THEATRES, LTD. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 14. Judgment for defendant was given in the case in which Kemball Theatres, Ltd., claimed £2760 5/- from British Filling Stations, Ltd., in the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice stating that in his opinion plaintiff had not established a claim against defendant. His Honour did not think any contract, expressed or implied, had been made out’ against defendant company to make any payment to plaintiff company on account of services performed.
