RELIEF WORKERS
ISSUE OF WINTER RATIONS. 'INCREASED PAY PREFERRED. (Per United Press Association.) Hastings, June 13. A resolution expressing to the Government the council’s view that _it would be preferable to increase relief workers’ wages by ten shillings weekly during the .winter months rather than to provide rations to relief workers was unanimously passed by the Hastings Borough Council this evening.
