STEWARD ASSAULTED
SEVEN CHINESE ARRESTED.
(United Press Assn,—Telegraph Copyright.) ‘ Vancouver, June 12.. Charged with having beaten Alex. McGinlay, a steward on the Empress of Japan, off the coast of Hawaii and with attempting to throw him overboard, seven Chinese workers on the vessel have been arrested.
