CAT BITES SAILORS
RUSH FOR MEDICAL AID.
SLOOP RUNS AGROUND.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Port Sudan, June 12. A cat going mad aboard the nayal sloop Hastings in the Red Sea indirectly caused the ship to run aground. The cat bit several sailors and rabies was suspected, so the Hastings, commanded by Captain Hermon Lodge, headed for Port Sudan to' obtain medical aid. She struck a shoal sixty miles from her destination. A sister ship, aided by a tug, failed to tow her off. A supply of serium was sent out and the cat was brought ashore.
