EXTENSION OF PRIVILEGES DESIRED. (Per United Press Association.) Masterton, June 12; The following resolution was carried at the annual meeting of the Wairarapa Patriotic Association to-day: That this meeting recomends members of the Claims Board to attend the annual meeting of the Flock. House Trustees to urge that while preference to returned soldiers sons be kept in the forefront, Flock House make arrangements if possible to extend the privileges of training to the sons of unemployed civilians at the expense of the funds of the Unemployment Board and thence to ordinary civilians, the delegates' to point out that many exservicemen have sons at present not old enough to take advantage of the Flock House facilities and that it is desirable to keep the institutions open for a few years in anticipation of these boys being given advantages of the course of the training. It was decided that the whole matter of Flock House training be referred to the Farmers’ Union and Women’s Division, seeking their co-operation.
