AUSTRALIA’S ADVERSE BALANCE.

Although arrested in the depression years, Australia’s adverse trade balance with the United States is again rapidly increasing. For the calendar year 1934 the adverse balance was over £7,000,000. Exports to America were the lowest for fifteen years and imports the heaviest since 1930-31.
