UNSUCCESSFUL CLAIM
ALLEGED BREACH OF PROMISE. (Per United Pfess Association.) New Plymouth, June IL Judgment announcing the failure of a claim for £5OO damages for alleged breach of promise to marry was delivered by Mr Justice Callan yesterday. Leah Haughton, of Hawera, sued Gregory Horace Perrett, a defence force trainee, of ‘frentham. The hearing was completed on Saturday, and judgment was reserved until yesterday. His Honour said he accepted the evidence of Perrett, denying a promise to marry.
