TREMORS AT QUETTA OVER 20,000 PERSONS EVACUATED WOMAN’S ORDEAL (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.50 p.m.) Calcutta, June 11. Earthquake shocks continue daily in Quetta. There were two severe shocks at the week-end, one almost as bad as the original one. Over 20,000 persons have been evacuated since June 1, the majority belonging to Sind and Punjab. It is revealed that between June 1 and 7 14,000 telegrams reached Quetta and over 3000 are - still undelivered. The addressees are believed to have perished. The estimated damage to Government and military buildings and railway property is nearly £2,000,000. Private damage is incalculable. Among the miraculous escapes was that of an Indian woman, who was dug out after two days, during which she had given birth to a child.
