MAGISTRATE’S COURT
SITTING AT GORE. Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M., presided at a sitting of the Gore Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Judgment was given by default for plaintiffs with costs in the following civil actions:—Robert Rodger v. Janet Trusler (Gore) for 17/6 and costs 14/-; R. Hocking v. R. V. Patterson (Gore) for £2 16/- and costs £1 7/6; Murray and Robertson v. Hermann Shore (Gore) for £9 17/9 and costs £1 10/6; H. and J. Smith Ltd. v. J. A. Maskill (Mataura) for £1 3/6 and costs 8/-; G. Youngson v. J. H. Winter (Invercargill) for £l2 12/- and costs £2 16/-. .On a judgment summons John F. Ferris (Waikaia) was ordered to pay to Tappers Ltd. the sum of £1 a month on a claim for £lO 1/11 in default 10 days’ imprisonment.
