A “relay” team of six aeroplanes recently carried mails 6000 miles from Buenos Aires to Paris in the record times of three days six hours. Two Defence Force aeroplanes were recently 'sent from Pretoria to Natal to spray with poison dust swarms of locusts threatening the crops.
