STILL INDISPOSED
ACTING PRIME MINISTER. COLD RETARDING RECOVERY. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 4. The Hon. Sir Alfred Ransom, ActingPrime Minister, is still indisposed and confined to bed in his Ministerial residence. It is unlikely he will be able to resume his duties at Parliament House this week. A bad cold is retarding recovery. In political circles, much sympathy is expressed with the Minister whose sharp indiposition has hindered him from enjoying the honour of Knighthood bestowed upon him and numerous congratulations from all over New Zealand and farther afield.
The messages received by Sir Alfred and Lady Ransom include felicitations cabled greetings from Viscount and Viscountess Bledisloe, the Hon. G. W. Forbes and Mrs Forbes and the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and Mrs Coates.
