QUARRY WORKER KILLED. (Per United Press Association.) Wanganui, June 4. John Wheeler, single, whose parents reside at Tekopuru near Dargaville, was killed this morning by a fall of earth at the Harbour Board quarries at Kaiwhaiki. He was completely buried, and when he was extricated life was extinct. CHILD DROWNED IN/TROUGH. (Per United Press Association.) New Plymouth, June 4. A child aged 21 months, a son of Mr and Mrs C. B. Brock, was drowned in a water trough at Matapu, South Taranaki, to-day. The body was *found head downward in the trough with a foot tangled in two wires of a fence which crossed the trough.
