The King, who celebrated his seventieth birthday to-day, was present at the ceremony of trooping the Colour which was carried out with customary stateliness and precision in brilliant sunshine. His Majesty headed a procession from Buckingham Palace to the Horse Guards Parade accompanied by all his sons. The Duke of Kent, who being a naval officer, had hitherto not participated in the ceremony, made his first appearance as Colonel of the West Kent Regiment. MR ROOSEVELTS GREETINGS.
