VICTORIAN FLOODS
WORST DANGER PASSED. DAMAGE TO PASTURES. (United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright.) Melbourne, May 2. The worst danger in the flooded areas has passed and householders are returning to their homes, which on Tuesday were under water. Serious damage has been done to pastures. The flooded Yarra is still causing considerable inconvenience to shipping, while high seas are running along the coast, resulting in inter-State steamers being many hours behind schedule.
