COWS AND HORSES KILLED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, January 28. Lightning struck ' a tree on a farm near Grafton and, running along the wire fence attached to the tree struck dead twenty-one cows and two horses standing near the fence. The tree was badly shattered. Wood around the auger holes in the fence was burnt by the passage of the current, and the grass under the feet of the animals was withered and burnt.
