MAN EXTRADITED
ALLEGED FALSE PRETENCES. APPEARANCE IN COURT. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, January 28. Extradited from Australia to answer charges of obtaining from John Shelley £235 by false pretences as to the ownership of a motor car, Jack Denton French, aged 32, a motor dealer, appeared in the Police Court and pleaded not guilty to-day. He was remanded to February 6 on bail of £250.
