FEROCIOUS SHARK

BOAT ATTACKED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, January 25. While three men were fishing in a small boat outside Sydney Heads a large shark leaped out of the water and snapped at one man. The jaws of the shark fastened on to a sleeve of the man’s coat, tearing it off at the elbow. Falling back into the sea the shark struck the gunwale of the boat, which almost capsized. The monster then swam round the boat, lashing the water with its tail, before finally swimming away.
