Welcome Home

A very pleasant evening was spent in the supper room of the Otautau Town Hall recently, when a number of friends gathered to tender a welcome home to Mr and Mrs E. F. King. Dancing was indulged in to music supplied by Messrs A. P. Philpott, D. Gibb and J. Brown, while the duties. of M.C. were carried out by Mr A. Liddell. At a convenient interval in the proceedings Mr A. Philpott took the opportunity on behalf of those present to welcome the guests to the district and wished them every success in their married life. Mr King suitably responded. A lucky spot waltz was won by Miss Rona Salton and Mr A. Liddell.
