Coming-of-age Party

On Tuesday evening Mr and Mrs J. E. Boniface entertained about 50 guests at their home, Crinan street, to celebrate the coming-of-age of their daughter Gladys. At a suitable interval Mr H. Cunningham presented Miss Boniface with a key and wished her every success. ?Ciss Boniface cut the cake which was decorated with 21 candles, and Mrs Martin also presented her with a handsome bouquet. Mr T. Bain suitably replied on behalf of the guest of honour. .... During the evening Miss Alice Rickerby performed a tap dance. The lucky spot was won by Miss Thelma McAra and Mr Les Lynne.
