BOY’S BRAVERY

COMPANION SAVED FROM DROWNING. A NARROW ESCAPE. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, January 25. The bravery of John Todds, aged 13, saved Peter Mouritsen, aged seven, from certain drowning in the harbour at Ravensboume last evening. Mouritsen was fishing at the jetty when he fell into deep water. His companion called for help and Todds, though fully clothed and only a learner at swimming, plunged in and brought the now unconscious boy to the piles, where he himself was exhausted.
