(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, January 23 In the Upper House of Convocation of Canterbury the Archbishop (Dr. Lang), who presided, referred to the improved international political situation. He said that hope was permissible that in this better atmosphere of . general security the forthcoming visit of French Ministers to London might prepare the way for the resumption of the General Disarmament Conference.
