MR R. CHURCHILL’S CANDIDATURE.

A curious position has arisen r - garding the candidature of Mr Randolph Churchill for the Wavertree by-elec-tion, where he is opposing the National Conservative candidate, Mr James Platt, on the India issue. The executive of the India Defence League, formed to oppose the White Paper propolis, has decided to actively suport Mr Ran dolph’s candidature and will send league speakers on his behalr. Lora Lloyd, the Duchess of. Athol! and several other peers and members of the House of Commons have offered to SP Mr Winston Churchill will address a meeting on the eve of the poll.
