BOOKMAKERS FINED
AMOUNTS OF £75. PREVIOUS CONVICTIONS. (Per United Press Association.) Greymouth, January 21. James Hassall and Daniel McCarthy pleaded guilty this morning to a charge of using their premises as dOmmon gaming houses. Each had previous convictions and was fined £75, Mr H. Morgan, S.M., stating that it was their final chance.
