WAIPAWA’S CARGO
DAMAGE NOT ASCERTAINED.
COMPLETE INVESTIGATION TO-
DAY.
(Per United Press Association.) Auckland, January 21. The total damage done to the frozen cargo in the No. 2 hold of the Waipawa, owing to water overflowing from the bilges into the hold, has not yet been ascertained. Some cargo is damaged and will have to be discharged. It is expected there will be a complete investigation to-morrow and it is hoped to despatch the vessel south on Wednesday.
