CATHOLIC TEACHERS
ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF ASSOCIATION.
OPENING TO-DAY.
(Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, January 21. The annual conference of the Catholic Teachers’ Association, which commences to-morrow, will be attended by Bishops Whyte (Dimedin), Brodie (Christchurch) and Liston (Auckland), also 20 priests and 200 nuns and brothers. The conference continues till Thursday. The chief work will be the consideration of a provisional syllabus of religious instruction for primary and secondary schools, drafted at the Christchurch conference last year. Other matters of current educational importance will also be discussed.
