DRUMMOND NOTES

SCHOOL BREAK-UP.

(From Our Correspondent.)

There was a large gathering of parents and friends at the annual break-up of the Drummond School, the function this year taking the form of a afternoon. Afternoon tea was supplied by the ladies. The chairman of the School Committee (Mr J. Kincaid) presided, and in his remarks referred to the scheme for school improvements. He thanked the residents for the generous manner in which they had responded to the appeal of the committee for funds, and on behalf of the members he wished to particularly thank Mr S. Stuart, who had canvassed the district.
