INCREASED SALARIES
HARBOUR BOARD EMPLOYEES.

Auckland, November 13. An increase of 5 per cent in all salaries as from October 1, and discontinuance of rationing, has been decided upon by the Auckland Harbour Board. An announcement to this effect was made by the chairman, Mr T. B. Clay following a discussion of the estimates by the board in committee. The increase in salaries will mean an additional expenditure of about £2600 a year.
