ARGENTINE RULING.

The Senate Constitutional Affairs Committee ruled on Monday that the Senate has the authority to invoke police aid if necessary to obtain the books of packing firms, including British and United States companies. Several packers have refused to submit their books in an investigation of profits and other matters.
