DENTAL CLINIC

INVERCARGILL COMMITTEE. The Invercargill Dental Clinic Committee met on Wednesday. Present: Messrs F. G. Stevenson (chairman), W. Carswell, W. George, C. M. King, G. E. Thompson and F. K. Tucker The treasurer reported that the financial position of the clinic was on the whole satisfactory The clinic roll was steadily mounting and now stood at about 900. It was decided that as the present scale of charges appeared equitable and was also satisfactory from the committee’s point of view, there would be no alteration made and the scale would therefore stand. The chairman referred to the impending transfer of Mr Tucker to Christchurch, necessitating 1 is resignation as secretary and treasurer, an office he had held for five years. The resignation was received with regret. Mr L. H. Allott was appointed secretary and treasurer in place of Mr Tucker.
