SENTENCES AT WANGANUI. (Per United Press Association.) Wanganui, November 7. At the Supreme Court the following sentences were passed:— William Garforth, robbery with violence, three years’ imprisonment with hard labour. Sydney Laurence Check, carnal knowledge, two ..years’ probation. Rangi Martin, horse-stealing, two years’ imprisonment with hard labour. Michael Ansley, indecent assault, remanded till Friday for a report from the gaol surgeon.
