OLD SHELL EXPLODES
SIX FRENCHMEN KILLED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 1.10 a.m.) Paris, July 17. While Dragoons were drilling at Mai-sons-Laffatte a sergeant kicked an old mortar shell which exploded, killing six and wounding 25. Only three of the squad escaped unhurt.
