“A MARKED MAN”
SIR JOHN SIMON. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.10 p.m.) London, July 17. The Daily Telegraph says that Sir John Simon’s home at Walton-on-Hill is specially guarded by police in consequence of telephone threats, including the statement that “he is leading the country to war and is a marked man. I’ll wipe him out.”
