INVERCARGILL GUN CLUB. The following are the results of matches held on the Invercargill Gun Club’s ground, Beatrice street: — No. 1. MATCH (six bird sweepstake) —G. V. Edge 6, D. Duggan 5, R. Price 5, R. McEwing 5, A. Hamilton 4, P. O’Callagan 3. Edge broke the possible and secured first place, while Duggan, Price and R. McEwing tied for second place and divided the prize. No. 2 MATCH, £8 (12 birds)—R. Price 11, P. O’Callagan 11, R. McEwing 10, A. Hamilton 3, G. V. Edge 9, Price and O’Callagan tied for first place and divided the prize. R. McEwing was in second place. No. 3 MATCH (Nine bird sweepstake) —G. V. Edge 9, R. McEwing 8, P. O’Callagan 7, D. Duggan 7, R. Price 7. Edge was first and McEwing second.
