CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
EXECUTIONS AT MIDNAPORE. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 11.55 p.m.) Calcutta, June 8 Harcndra Chakravarti and Krishna Chowdhury, who were sentenced, to death for the bomb outrage at Chittagong on January 7 when the Superintendent of Police was wounded, were executed in Midnapore gaol. This is the first capital punishment on a charge of attempted murder.
