Each month the branch had a roll call and competitions in baking, sewing and two for the best vase of flowers. Relief work had not been forgotten and members were responsible for several articles being placed in homes less fortunate than theirs. Donations amounting to £5 10/- were forwarded to the ministering fund and Southland executive. Thanks were due to all those who had in any way helped to make the meetings and branch a success. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, Mrs Fallow said it was gratifying to learn the year had closed with so good a credit balance.
