MAN’S DEATH FROM BURNS. CORONER’S COMMENT. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, April 6. “Familiarity breeds contempt.” commented the Coroner, Mr G. Gilbertson, when a medical witness said he was unable to understand how a burning accident resulting in the death of Robert Adams, who was using petrol and parrafin wax, occurred. A verdict was returned of death from shock and burns received in an explosion of petrol, which was being used in proximity to a fire.
