FATHER CHARGED WITH MURDER.

The boy who was knifed has been identified as Albert Daniel Mollor, aged 10, of Fremantle. Laurence Oliver Mollor, aged 44, a widower, the boy’s father, has been arrested and charged with the murder of his son. FATHER IN COURT PUBLIC FEELING HIGH. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Public feeling is so high that the police were compelled to take special measures to protect accused en route to the Court. They also covered his face to defeat photographers. Accused was remanded. A post-mortem of the boy’s body’ revealed that he was stabbed twice, the second time clean through the body, the point of the knife emerging from the chest. The father is a seaman employed on a coastal steamer.

The body of an unidentified boy was discovered in a motor car at the rear of an hotel at Fremantle to-day with a knife buried up to the hilt between the boy’s shoulder blades. Tire police were informed that a woman’s and boy’s cries of distress were heard in a clump of bushes in the vicinity of the hotel, but the police were unable to locate anybody, although they saw a patch of blood. Later the boy’s body was discovered unattended in the car. In the circumstances it appeared that he was brutally murdered elsewhere and conveyed to the rear of the hotel.
